We have a dedicated redecoration team that preps each apartment with care for paint and fixtures, as well as cleaning or replacing carpet.

Yes, we have on-site 24-hour emergency maintenance staff that are ready to help and service for peace of mind.

You can call our office to speak with one of our staff at 219-879-8329, email us at [email protected] or from your resident services account, or contact emergency maintenance for any emergencies after hours.

Once a work order has been placed, it is assigned to one of our maintenance team members to complete. The work orders are completed in the order received with emergency orders done first.

No, you do not need to be present as long as you give our maintenance team permission to enter in the event you are not home.

You can call our office while open or emergency maintenance after hours to be let in. Please be sure to have I.D. ready or be able to confirm you live in the unit.

You can decorate your apartment without penalty as long as any holes in the wall to hold pictures, etc. are less than 6 inches in diameter.

The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day from 10:00 AM – sunset 7 days a week.

Parking is available to our residents located in front of each building and overflow parking is available for multiple vehicles and guests.

There are no hookups but each building has a laundry room on the garden floor.

Yes, our community has pet-friendly buildings available.

The one-time $150 Pet Fee is non-refundable and Pet Rent is $20 per month.

Yes, there are some weight and breed restrictions. Please feel free to reach out to our staff for additional information on breeds. Weight must be no more than 75 lbs. for one pet and 100 lbs. combined between two pets.

Normandy Village does not offer a pet park; however, we are located near many local parks where you can walk your pets. We also provide pet waste stations.

Our apartments come furnished with a refrigerator/freezer combination, gas stove and garbage disposal.

No, we do not offer furnished apartments.

Yes, our shortest lease term is 6 months.

Yes, we offer corporate housing through VIA by Edward Rose. Please contact your Leasing Office for more information.

Due to COVID-19 we will no longer be able to accept packages in our office.

We do not have any quiet hours. There are no fees to use communal space except for the community building.

There is no cost to take a tour.

We do appreciate an appointment but we welcome walk-ins as well.

Our managers are friendly and happy to help any way they can. Our office staff would be happy to set an appointment to better serve you.

You can conveniently apply online 24/7 at our website www.normandyvillageapartments.com or stop by our office to use one of our laptops to complete an online application during business hours.

Once the application has been submitted it usually takes about 24-48 business hours for the results.

The up-front costs include your first months’ rent, Security Deposit, Administrative fee, and any cable or internet options chosen at move in.

As a first time renter, we know it can be a little scary and intimidating but there is nothing to worry about. We would recommend you sit down and make a realistic budget and think about what you want and compare it to what fits your budget.

As a resident, you can conveniently pay your rent online in the Resident Services portal with a credit/debit card or bank account. We also offer WIPS payment program or you can mail a check if preferred.

To pay your rent online just log onto www.edwardrose.com and click on the Resident Services link to login.

There are no extra or hidden monthly fees. You are only required to pay your rent, and any cable, internet or pet rent that you may also have.

While we do not require you to have renter’s insurance, it is recommended.

Water, sewer, trash, and the gas for heating, cooking and hot water.

The only utilities you would need to set up would be electricity through NIPSCO at 1-800-464-7726, online at www.nipsco.com, or at their office in Merrillville.

For your convenience, we have Bloom Broadband for your basic cable and high-speed internet needs. We also offer Dish network for additional cable needs.

Rates are pre-determined and non-negotiable. There are no reductions for paying in advance.

No, only the person(s) on the lease are allowed to occupy the apartment.

If you break your lease you would be required to pay the early termination fee, rent through your notice, and any cable or internet through your notice.

Our community is located on the city bus line with two stops in the community.

Normandy Village is conveniently located within minutes of shopping, parks, restaurants, and a movie theater.

Edgewood Elementary, Barker Middle School, and Michigan City High School.

Creek Ridge County Park is within 3 miles of Normandy Village and offers no-leash dog exercise area.

There are bike trails within two miles of Normandy Village featuring asphalt and dirt trails.

There are many places to shop within minutes such as Walmart, Meijer, Aldi, Walgreens, and many more.

There are multiple coffee shops to choose from such as Starbucks, Dunkin, and Biggby Coffee. All are within two miles of Normandy Village.
